1. Mister Gepeng

Mister Gepeng merupakan salah satu sosok hantu yang pernah popuer pada era 90an. Berdasarkan mitos yang beredar di tengah masyarakat, Mister Gepeng adalah hantu yang dulunya seorang pengusaha kaya. Mister Gepeng meninggal karea terjepit di lift rumah sakit.

Namuna, cerita lain juga ada yang menyebut bawa Mister Gepeng tewas akibat terlindas buldozer. Mister Gepeng diyakini sebagai hantu bertubuh gepeng yang beristirahat di toilet.

Bahkan, dulu ritual pemanggilan Mister Gepeng sempat terkenal, seperti harus masuk ke toilet pukul 11 malam dengan kondisi gelap. Lalu, ada yang mengetuk pintu dari dalam sembari berjalan maju dan mundur sebanyak tiga langkah, barulah Mister Gepeng muncul.

2. Genderuwo

Genderuwo merupakan hantu jadul yang dahulu sangat populer. Hampir setiap daerah ada genduruwo. Wujudnya menyerupai laki-laki raksasa dengan sosok menyeramkan untuk menakut-nakuti masyarakat. Katanya, Genderuwo paling suka menganggu kaum Hawa. 

Pakar spiritual, Mbah Mijan juga membenarkan mitos Genderuwo yang suka menganggu perempuan.  Ia beralasan jin punya nafsu hingga bsa menganggu perempuan bahkan menyetubuhinya. Selain itu, konon katanya Genderuwo bisa menambah tingkat kesaktian usai menyetubuhi perempuan.

4. Hantu Kuyang

Kuyang digambarkan sebagai sosok wanita berambut panjang yang tidak ada organ dalam. Sosoknya dikaitkan dengan siluman berwujud kepala perempuan dengan rambut panjang dan organ dalam tubuh yang menggantung tanpa kulit. Menurut kepercayaan warga, Kuyang suka mencari bayi serta darah wanita hamil atau usai melahirkan. 

Jika Kuyang sudah makan darah, maka kemampuannya akan lebih sakti dan tak terkalahkan oleh kekuatan apa pun. Kuyang adalah seorang wanita yang menuntut ajaran ilmu hitam untuk mencapai kehidupan abadi.

5. Wewe Gombel

Wewe gombel dipercaya masyarakat punya perawakan seperti wanita berpayudara besar dan menggantung. Ia akan memulai aksi menjelang maghrib untuk menculik anak-anak. 

Hal ini dikarenakan Wewe Gombel disebut sebagai hantu wanita yang tewas akibat bunuh diri setelah membunuh suaminya. Semasa hidupnya, ia disebut-sebut tidak bisa punya keturunan, sehingga sang suami selingkuh darinya. Itulah alasan mengapa Wewe Gombel sangat erat dengan cerita anak hilang selepas maghrib tiba.
