Berbagai pose foto dan video beredar di media sosial yang dinilai kurang sopan. Melalui Instagram @infobandaaceh mengunggah sebuah video permohonanan maaf mereka yang bersepeda dengan mengenakan baju ketat.

"Klarifikasi serta pernyataan permintaan maaf kepada masyarakat Aceh khususnya warga Kota Banda Aceh dari para penggowes hari ini, Senin (6/7) di Kantor Satpol PP & WH Kota Banda Aceh," tulisnya.
Dalam permohonan maaf itu, mereka menunjukkan surat pernyataan warna pink yang warna merah muda. Mereka juga telah mengucap janji untuk tidak mengulangi kembali perbuatannya.

Diketahui, dalam Qanun Nomor 11 Tahun 2002 tentang Syariat Islam bidang akidah, ibadah dan syiar islam disebutkan berpakaian sesuai syariat islam harus menutup aurat, tidak tipis dan tidak membungkus sehingga tidak memperlihatkan lekuk tubuh.
