Let's Fight Ghost merupakan salah satu drama yang diadaptasi dari webtoon jadul ternama berjudul Ssawooja Gwishina. Berkisah tentang Hyun-ji (Kim So-hyun) seorang pelajar yang dinyatakan meninggal dunia akibat kecelakaan dan menjadi hantu gentayangan.

2. Kingdom 1 & 2 (2019 & 2020)

Drama yang tayang di Netflix ini berhasil mencuri perhatian banyak penonton karena kisah horornya. Apalagi drama ini bertemakan kolosal yang cukup jarang menjadi tema di tiap drama Korea Selatan. 

Berkisah tentang putra mahkota kerajaan Jiseon bernama Lee Chang (Joo Ji Hoon) yang dituduh berkhianat dan memainkan kekuasaan politik di kerajaan setelah raja terserang penyakit dan menjadi zombi. 

Dia pun berusaha menutupi masalah kerjaan dengan bantuan ratu (Kim Hye Jun) dan seorang menteri kerajaan Ja Hak Jo (Ryoo Seung Ryeong) dengan cara pergi mencari obat sekaligus dokter terkenal. 

Sayangnya dalam perjalanan, dia justru bertemu dengan wabah mengerikan yang telah menjadikan warga sebagai zombi. Putra mahkota pun harus menghindari serangan dari para zombi yang terjangkit dari sebuah epidemi. 

Drama ini jadi salah satu serial yang tayang secara resmi lewat Netflix dengan total 6 episode. Bahkan saat ini, Kingdom Season 2 juga sudah tayang dan melanjutkan kisah perzombian yang mengerikan.

3. Hometown Legends (2009)

Drama Hometown Legends ini manjadi salah satu drama horor terbaik dari Korea Selatan. Jalan cerita dari drama ini fokus dengan kehidupan urban legend yang mencekam. 

Berkisah tentang keluarga Lee yang menyimpan rahasia untuk tetap bertahan hidup dari generasi ke generasi. Di mana keluarga itu memiliki keturuan dari rubah berekor sembilan. Pihak keluarganya akan melakukan sebuah tradisi mengerikan bagi bayi perempuan yang baru lahir di keluarganya. 

Jika bayi itu tak memiliki darah rubah, maka dia akan dinikahkan secara paksa demi melanjutkan kemakmuran keluarganya. Lee Myung Ok (Park Min Young) adalah salah satu anggota yang balas dendam atas kematian salah seorang anggota keluarganya tanpa sebab. Dia berubah menjadi seekor rubah mengerikan demi membalaskan dendamnya. 

4. Train To Busan

Bukan drama melainkan film populer dari Korea Selatan, Train To Busan yang berlatar zombi sama seperti Kingdom. Tetapi film ini lebih menekankan tentang cara bertahan hidup dari serangan zombi hampir di seluruh penjuru negeri. 

Berkisah tentang wabah mengerikan yang diakibatkan oleh kebocoran virus di sebuah pabrik biokimia. Seok Woo (Gong Yoo) bersama anaknya Su-an (Kim Su-an) sedang dalam perjalanan untuk bertemu dengan ibunya dengan menaiki sebuah kereta cepat.

Sayangnya di dalam kereta itu ada salah seorang penumpang yang terinfeksi virus mengerikan, dan menjadikannya zombi yang hampir menginfeksi seluruh penumpang kereta. Akibatnya, Seok Woo dan beberapa penumpang yang tak terjangkit harus bertahan hidup agar tak terinfeksi virus itu. 

Film ini meraih kesuksesan besar dibwah garapan sutradara Yeon Sang-ho. Pihaknya meraup keuntungan sebesar 99 juta dolar AS atau Rp1,4 miliar sejak rilis tahun 2016. Makanya enggak heran film ini bakal dibuat sekuel lanjutannya yang diberi judul Peninsula, yang dijadwalkan tayang pada 30 Juli 2020.
