Sejak Slipknot dipastikan datang ke Indonesia untuk pertama kalinya, Metalhead menyambut kabar ini dengan gegap gempita. Tiket early bird seharga Rp750 ribu yang dijual pada 11 November pun ludes hanya dalam waktu lima menit.
Sehari berselang, pihak Hammersonic menambah kuota untuk early bird. Namun ini pun tak menunggu lama untuk berstatus 'fully booked'. Hammersonic lantas membuka penjualan tiket pre-sale tahap 1 seharga Rp1.250.000 untuk dua hari pada Jumat dan Sabtu.
Tidak habis di situ saja. Hammersonic akan menginformasikan pre-sale tahap 2 dan barisan line-up mancanegara lainnya di Instagram @hammersonicfest secara bertahap.
Untuk diketahui, Black Flag terbentuk di Hermosa Beach, California pada tahun 1976. Awalnya bernama Panic, band ini didirikan oleh Greg Ginn yang merupakan gitaris, penulis lagu utama, dan satu-satunya member orisinal di tengah perubahan formasi yang bertubi-tubi.
Sound Black Flag merupakan persilangan kesederhanaan Ramones dengan solo gitar tanpa nada dan pada tahun-tahun berikutnya tempo yang sering berubah-ubah. Liriknya sebagian besar ditulis oleh Ginn, dan seperti band-band punk lain yang eksis pada akhir 1970-an dan awal 1980-an, Black Flag menyuarakan pesan anti-otoriter dan non-konformis, dalam lagu-lagu yang diselingi dengan deskripsi isolasi sosial, neurosis, kemiskinan, dan paranoia.
Tema-tema tersebut dieksplorasi lebih lanjut ketika Henry Rollins bergabung pada 1981 sebagai penyanyi Black Flag. Sepanjang perjalanan kariernya, Black Flag telah merilis tujuh album studio. Yakni Damaged (1981), My War (1984), Family Man (1984), Slip It In (1984), Loose Nut (1985), In My Head (1985), dan What The... (2013).
Formasinya saat ini adalah Greg Ginn (gitar), Mike Vallely (vokal), Joseph Noval (bass), dan Isaias Gil (drum) serta dilengkapi gitaris tur Alan Windler.
