ERA.id - Ajang penghargaan bergengsi tahunan, Golden Globe 2021 telah selesai diselenggarakan. Sejumlah nama besar dan film pun berhasil membawa pulang piala penghargaan.
Acara Golden Globe 2021 telah resmi digelar, Minggu (28/2/2021) waktu New York, Amerika Serikat atau Senin (1/3/2021) waktu Indonesia. Sejumlah nama baru pun berhasil membawa pulang piala penghargaan, salah satunya Anya Taylor-Joy.
Taylor-Joy berhasil terpilih sebagai Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy berkat film The Queen’s Gambit. Ia mengalahkan Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Daisy Edgar-Jones dan Shira Haas.
Selain pemeran Beth Harmon, serial The Crown juga berhasil memenangkan piala Golden Globe tahun ini. Kemenangan ini bukan yang pertama bagi serial The Crown.
Tahun 2017, serial ini berhasil memenangkan kategori yang sama yaitu Best Television Series - Drama.
Selain itu mendiang Chadwick Boseman juga berhasil meraih kemenangan dari film terakhir yang ia bintangi sebelum meninggak dunia. Lewat film Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Boseman memenangkan kategori Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama.
